FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

A few things you might be wondering.

If your question isn't here, just ask. There's no such thing as a silly question when you're considering a move like this.

Is there lift access?

Yes. Bower House has lift access between floors, making the apartments easy to reach throughout the building. A number of the larger two-storey apartments also have provision for their own private lift. You can see the different layouts on the Apartments page.

Is there parking?

Yes. Secure on-site parking is provided, together with electric vehicle charging points available to Arden Lawn residents. There is also a cycle storage room and an electric buggy store.

What's included when I move in?

Every apartment comes with a full range of integrated Bosch kitchen appliances, including an oven, hob, combination microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. You'll also find a washer dryer, premium carpet in the bedrooms, Karndean flooring through the main living areas and a fitted wardrobe in the principal bedroom.

Am I set up for broadband and TV?

Yes. Fibre is provided to every property for high-speed broadband, with data sockets to the living room and utility cupboard. TV points are also ready for terrestrial television and a Sky Q connection. Any Sky Q subscription would be arranged separately by the homeowner.

What is the tenure?

Every Bower House apartment is sold with a 999-year lease, giving you your own private, self-contained home and front door. Faye can talk you through the ownership structure in more detail if you'd like to understand exactly how it works.

Can I have visitors to stay?

Yes. Bower House has a bookable guest suite for visiting family and friends, giving them somewhere comfortable to stay while keeping your own apartment entirely your own. You can see more on the Life at Bower House page .

Can I lock up and leave if I travel regularly?

Yes. Bower House is designed to make that easy. If you're going away for a few days, a few weeks or spending time at another property, simply lock your apartment and go. The building, communal areas and landscaped surroundings continue to be professionally managed while you're away, giving you one less thing to worry about.

What if I need a bit of extra support later on?

The reassurance is already built in. Every apartment has access to 24-hour emergency assistance with a personal pendant button, and there's a Host on site five days a week. The idea is simple: support is there if you ever need it, without getting in the way of living independently. You can read more on the Why Downsize page .

How do I arrange a viewing?

However suits you. Come on your own, with your partner or bring the family. You don't need to have anything decided before you visit. Book a viewing for a time that works for you, have a proper look around and take things from there.

STILL HAVE A QUESTION?
