Moving home is a big decision, particularly when you've lived somewhere for many years. So it's natural to have questions. Here are some of the ones we hear most often.
I'm not ready to leave my home.
There's no reason you should rush. A home can hold years of memories, and deciding to move on from it is a big step. Sometimes it helps to think not about leaving those memories behind, but about what you'd like the years ahead to look like and whether a different home could give you more freedom to enjoy them.
Will I lose my independence?
Not at all. Bower House is designed around independent living. You have your own apartment, your own front door and your own space, with a 999-year lease. The difference is simply what's around you: beautifully maintained surroundings, welcoming shared spaces and support there if you ever need it.
What if my needs change later on?
That's something Bower House has been designed to think about from the beginning. Support is already there if you ever need it, including 24-hour emergency assistance, a personal pendant button and a Host on site five days a week. It's discreetly part of the development, so you can simply get on with living independently.
I don't want to be pushed into a decision.
You won't be. You don't need to have everything worked out before you come and see us. Come on your own, with your partner or bring the family. There's no pressure. Just come and have a look, ask whatever you want to ask, and take things from there.
